That’s not my name: Getting to the heart of gender diversity
What if someone doesn’t identify as either a male or a female? Is their gender linked to their sexuality?
Join us in Melbourne as we launch season two of She Speaks Northside events and discuss some of the very real issues we face in our community at local favourite, Francesca’s Bar. Led by the ever curious and always entertaining Jo Thomas, our expert panel will share their expertise and experience in supporting gender diversity.
- What is Gender Dysphoria and what options are available to someone who feels that the body they were born into doesn’t fit their gender identity?
- What is “non-binary” gender and how is it different to transgender?
- How do we communicate without using gender specific language?
- Does your sexuality change when your gender does?
